"Excellent stay. The casita is cozy and beautiful on the inside and we were blown away by the views you could see out of the main window. Easily accessible to town and to the ski area. Would definitely recommend!"

"Book this now! Catherine’s place is incredible. So peaceful and serene, unbeatable views, but still only a short (less than 10 min) drive from pretty much anywhere you’d want/need to go in Taos. The space is so cozy, clean, and unique. We were sad to leave."

Where you'll stay.

Taos, New Mexico, United States

The property borders the magnificent Millicent Rogers Estate, with unobstructed views of the Sangre de Cristo mountain range, including Taos Mountain, and the edge of the mesa, dropping down to pastureland and the Rio Pueblo below. Important historical sites, including the Martinez Hacienda, are in the valley within a mile or two.

There is a hiking path from the casita, wonderful for a morning or sunset stroll, from the mesa toward the Rogers Estate and back, about three quarters of a mile. Be careful of the cactus! You are seven minutes from town but a world away from hustle, bustle and traffic.

Getting around

We are outside of town and easily accessible by car to the Gorge, Ranchos, town, the Ski Valley, and hiking and winter sports, bypassing the center of town. Taos Plaza is easily accessible via Ranchitos Road, which passes through copses of giant cottonwoods and historic adobe farmhouses
